Poros is a coastal town with noteworthy tourist development that combines mountain and sea, green landscapes and wonderful sandy beaches. Every year, more and more visitors prefer to stay in Poros.
Here, you can see the “narrows of Poros” (in Greek stena Porou), a deep verdurous gorge at the entrance of the village and the vaulted tomb of the Mycenaean period, in the location Broutzi of Tzannata, one of the most important findings of the excavations which proves that the area was inhabited since 1400 B.C..
