How to get to Kythira

Kithira, although part of Eptanisa, is situated in south Greece, south of Peloponnese. Kithira has two main ports: Diakofti, all year round port of call for ships coming from Piraeus, and St. Pelagia, which is connected with Laconia in south Peloponnese (Githio and Neapoli). Kithira has an airport with flights to Athens all year round while during the summer charter flights are organized.

Kythira are connected:

  • By air with Athens
  • By boat with Piraeus, Githio and Neapoli of Laconia and Kasteli of Crete
