Antipaxi is a small, verdurous island, with almost 150 residents, situated in the south of Paxi. The island consists of small traditional settlements, with old mansion-houses. The island is “equipped” with four taverns, at Vrika and Voutoumi, open from July until September.
Here, you can visit the Venetian fortress, the olive grove paths, the cemetery (5th century B.C.), the windmills, the medicinal fountains, the ancient Governorate, the lighthouses, the vineyards and the Byzantine churches. Also, you should definitely take a tour around the island by boat and see the wonderful beaches of the island. The island hides some of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Sea, with the typical white thick sand and the amazing azure waters; Voutoumi, Vrika and Mesovrika, to the easily accessible eastern coasts or some of the beaches on the west side of the island with caves next to the coasts, accessible only by boat. The most important cultural event of the island is the International Festival of Classical Music, with significant pieces of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, taking place every September. Certainly, there are also traditional feasts with live music, concerts and theatrical plays.

Wonderful beaches of exotic beauty, with clear and warm water that gives you the opportunity for snorkelling. They are at the easily accessible east shores where you may go with a speedboat from the port but also with boats.
