Argassi

Argassi is situated along a beautiful coastline and it is one of the most important and popular tourist resorts on the island and that is why it is just 4km from the centre of the island (you can go on foot, after just 1km from the coastal road of Zakynthos town) and has rich natural beauties: green landscape together with vast sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. Argassi is one of the most ideal places for nightlife on the island, with many bars and clubs that play all genres of music. Most are open from 18:30 in the afternoon until 4 in the morning.

In the region, you will see many old churches and ruins of a medieval tower, from where it starts a path leading to the hilltop Skopos (758m). There, according to mythology, lived the goddess Artemis. The top of the hill is now dominated by the monastery of Panaghia Skopiotissa. You will be staggered from the wild orchids and rare species of butterflies that you come across.

The Argassi beach is just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Argassi town. It is a narrow but long beach with fine sand and opportunity for many water sports (gliders, water skiing, ringos, pedalos).

An organized, cosmopolitan beach with shallow water, sand and pebbles. It is aoristically developed due to its small distance from Zakynthos town. It’s only 4-5 km from Zakynthos town, while you may get there on foot via the coastal road (1km).
