Do that at Zakynthos

  • The island provides an excellent diving centre in Keri. The best choices for water sports are Alikanas, Alikes, Tsilivi, St. Nicolas beaches.
  • Taste the famous traditional Zakynthian sweets mandolato and pasteli but also Zakynthian dishes like stuffed roasted rooster, sofigadoura (meat, usually sheep, with potatoes), stuffed pancetta and eggplants “skordostoumpi”.
  • Have a stroll in Bochali. Maybe the prettiest area of the town with a magnificent view of the town and port.
  • Visit the National Marine Park and Askos Park in north Zakynthos.
  • Have a sea tour or swim in the Blue Caves and at the famous Shipwreck beach which is not accessible by land.
  • Smell or even buy the unique Zakynthian fragrances: bougarini, fiorountenia and grantouka.
  • Swim at the wonderful Gidaki beach. A unique beach of incomparable beauty, awarded as one of the prettier in Greece. Enjoy the sun and the sea looking to the islands right across. You may get there by boat or on foot via a trail.
