NIKOLOGIANNI K.B.NET (KBnet), a subsidiary of NIKOLOGIANNIS K.B. SONS SA INDUSTRY-TOURISM-COMMUNICATION and member of SETE (Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises) was founded in 2007 in order to contribute to the promotion and development of the tourism product of the Ionian region.

Today, after a creative progress, it offers promotional packages for tourism businesses and organizations, both in the Internet and publishing and promotes the Ionian region all over the world.

Until the end of 2009, KBnet was active in the Greek tourist market with the successful tourist portal ionianguide.com, the only travel portal in the region of the Ionian Sea and western Greece, which received every month, thousands of hits, doubling traffic only during the first two years.

It included a tourist guide (in Greek and English) for all areas of the Ionian region (Corfu, Paxi, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, Kythira, Ioannina, Thesprotia, Preveza, Arta, Etoloakarnania, Achaia, Ilia, Messinia, Lakonia) with specific modules for alternative tourism and yachting and hotel guide. Furthermore, KBnet published a collector’s printed version of ionianguide.com in Greek, the only guide book containing rich material for the Ionian region, which will be available in selected outlets throughout Greece.

Since 2010, KBnet upgrades ionianguide.com and creates a monolingual portal (in English) to highlight the area of the Ionian Sea in 195 countries worldwide. It is a travel guide with information on sightseeing, alternative tourism, beaches, access, accommodation, rent-a-car, restaurants and food&beverage etc.

Ionianguide.com is also sending periodically e-newsletters with offers and tourist news.
