TERMS FOR BUSINESS REGISTRATION & PROMOTION
This document contains the terms of the contract and provision of the service “Business Registration & Promotion” by K.B.NET NIKOLOGIANNI co. (“KBnet”) to its subscribers. The provision of the service requires the acceptance of terms by both sides with no negotiation.
KBnet, which operates in the IT and the Internet, is the owner of the portal at the address http://www.ionianguide.com (“ionianguide.com”), which offers many options and services to visiting members.
One of the services provided through the portal ionianguide.com is the “Business Registration & Promotion” in the business directories of the portal. By agreeing to the “Registration & Promotion” of your company in the business directories of ionianguide.com you declare your acceptance of these terms.
1. The entries-registrations in the business lists are made by the trained personnel/ representatives of “KBnet” or by completing the forms that we have created for this purpose and have sent to the company (“subscriber”, “company”, “business”).
The subscriber is responsible for the accuracy of stored data and the content of registration. Data that affect the morality and the site operators and visitors/users will not be accepted and will not be registered.
In any case, the subscriber bears the responsibility of the stored data and the webmaster/administrator of ionianguide.com performs a control and has to validate the registration. In the event of any dispute because of its content as for the subscriber’s data, the registration is cancelled and any amount previously been paid is refunded to the applicant.
KBnet may refuse to register and/or remove from the list/directory companies which in their published texts:
- Contain false information to mislead the visitors of the portal
- Contain only links to other websites
- Send back automatically (redirect) visitors to other sites
- Not indicate address, telephone number and contact details (applicable to corporate websites)
- Contain pages that are inactive or lead to the wrong destination
- Make excessive use of large image files
- Contain pornographic material, hateful propaganda, invective, fraudulent material or activities, material which infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property rights (software, images, text, music and other activities) and trademark, material that causes harm to under-ages, material that threats, underestimates, harasses, offends human rights, is obscene, indecent, racial-racist, illegal, material that urges, encourages, or provides instructions for committing crimes, software or otherwise material that contains viruses and can cause damage or loss of data at users' computers and systems of KBnet.
In case of violation of these obligations by the subscriber, KBnet can stop the registration and projection/appearance of his company, without any further liability towards the subscriber.
2. If in the form of completed data are displayed words, symbols and phrases that prejudice or mislead users with their contents (as offensive, defamatory, vulgar, offensive and generally illegal), that violates the personality of readers, then its projection/appearance is suspended automatically.
3. In the business directory no data is or remains confidential. Users are able to read the subscriber’s data as reported or completed by them and have been accepted. Also, users can view the personal-business sites that have been declared by the subscribers and referred them through link.
4. Ionianguide.com reserves the right to cancel temporarily or permanently a registered/visible company for non-compliance of agreed and in any case brought to the attention registered company has committed illegal acts or other acts that challenge morally or materially ionianguide.com or KBnet.
5. The copyright of all creative elements including text pages, photographs and other material belongs to ionianguide.com and KBnet.
The subscriber is solely responsible to KBnet and any third party for the content of the registered company in the list/directory of ionianguide.com, for the content of any external websites to which the company is referred via links, as well as for the provision/ reassurance of any necessary license, which will concern all kinds of rights (intellectual-property etc.) on the total of the registered company’s content (texts, photographs, graphics etc.), for KBnet, which does not bear any responsibility for the above.
All the material (data and information) used in the presentation of the company, for whose downloading/obtaining or uploading to ionianguide.com, was used the software or equipment of KBnet, is assigned to KBnet (including property rights and copyright) and which has the exclusive right to edit them, use and distribute them to others (free or reward) in any manner and means wishes and it is granted only after approval of KBnet.
6. All the services of projection/promotion require registration and renewals in the business directory, except advertising banner which can be viewed individually.
7. In the business directory can be viewed commercial companies/enterprises, as well, from other areas, but operating in the Ionian Sea region and western Greece.
8. Ionianguide.com reserves the absolute right to choose the manner/way and order of visibility of the companies showed in the business directory, as well as the ability to give users the option to display desired results in multiple ways.
9. Ionianguide.com reserves the right to enable users to insert comments, rating, voting, etc. for the registered companies in the business directory or elsewhere or to other services.
10. Ionianguide.com reserves the absolute right to change the manner/way and order of visibility of the companies showed in the business directory, the layout and overall presentation of the website, the prices of its services, these terms of use and those of the site. Any changes will be communicated through the pages of ionianguide.com. If the subscriber (registered company) does not agree with the changes in the terms of use, it shall inform in writing ionianguide.com or KBnet within thirty (30) days from the date of publication. Otherwise fully agrees and accepts automatically, without reservation, the new conditions/terms.
11. This subscription does not require KBnet to include, refer or host the company of the subscriber to any other part of the content except for that part of the business directory.
12. Limitation of Liability:
a. KBnet provides no warranty and bears no responsibility for the accuracy, reliability and continuous availability of information provided in the business directory of ionianguide.com. This falls within the responsibility of subscribers-members.
b. KBnet will make every effort to ensure the unrestricted display of the subscriber’s company and is not responsible in any way, for lack of access to its services via the Internet.
c. KBnet makes no express or implied warranty that the services described in this agreement ensure a certain number of visits to the registered companies.
d. The websites of registered companies may also include links to other sites on the internet. KBnet is not responsible for and does not guarantee the content or security of these sites.
13. Obligations of the subscriber: The subscriber is responsible for registering in the business directory the correct information about him and solely responsible for checking the accuracy of the data included in his company’s presentation. If necessary any corrections, the subscriber communicates KBnet for these adjustments. The subscriber shall not use or abuse the service in a way that is unlawful, nor to assist or allow others to engage in such acts. Unlawful or improper means any particular activity violates any applicable law, regulation, permit or circular.
The subscriber must ensure that the registered company will meet, throughout the duration of his subscription, the terms and conditions of this registration. Alone the payment of the amount of registration does not warrant that the company of the subscriber will be included in the future in the content of the business directory if the company changes and no longer meets the conditions of the present.
14. KBnet, aiming to provide integrated services to its members-subscribers, keeps records of subscribers’ data and is entitled to retain and use management and statistical data on its subscribers and their movement. However, the use and management of these data will be only to the extent as may be necessary to fulfil the objectives of the present and protect the services provided.
Both parties mutually recognize and agree without reservation that all information relating to the terms of the present and coming to their knowledge are classified as irrevocably confidential and expressly agree not to disclose to any third person or entity or use it for purposes other than those contained herein.
KBnet, strictly following the principles of data protection provided by the relevant laws and international conventions, will not make any unauthorized and without prior authorization, use of these data. KBnet, in no way, discloses, publishes, sells, exchanges personal data and information entrusted by the subscriber.
Exceptionally, KBnet may disclose the personal information of the subscriber, while complying with statutory procedure, when required by law, by court or requested by any government or regulatory authority, subject to earlier, and in any case, inform the subscriber.
15. The content of the above mentioned articles is governed primarily by fair trading rules. Any provision of these terms is contrary to law, shall automatically lapse and be removed from the present, without, in any way, affecting the validity of other terms and conditions.
